Compassion fatigue is when the stress of a job affects us physically, psychologically and emotionally, sometimes without our own acknowledgement.  For those who work in fields helping others, feeling overwhelmed can happen easily.  We may feel what we do to help others is never enough and that our services are undervalued and not appreciated.  We may become irritable, depressed, have trouble sleeping, want to avoid friends, or dread coming to work.  This training helps define and see compassion fatigue and gives attendees tools and helpful techniques to combat it.
